Today is the day we've been waiting for! I can't believe it's finally here. Friday! Loves, when I say this week really wiped this girl out. It only took this morning to see how truly exhausted I was. According to the snooze button anyway. But I am very proud to share today's look. It's a very  ambiguous outfit. So many ways you can go with it. And I plan to show you in full detail soon. Different ways to style a midi dress and to wear a motor jacket. These lovelies are both from Fashion to Figure. Usually when I wear midi dresses I'm uncomfortable because the fabric is so thin. Not with this babe. Or the other 3 I have. Haha. A nice thick fabric. And the length is perfect for us long legged beauties. Unfortunately, both these items are currently sold out. But if you wait like I did. They will be back in no time! Hope you enjoyed today's look.

The Vintage Coat: Trend of Winter 2016

Good Day Loves!

How was your weekend? Mines, lazy. The only time I moved was to shoot for this beautiful coat. Can we... I mean ... just talk about this beauty?! Guh! What started as a joke ended with me buying this bad boy. I tried it on for fun. To my surprise it fit and it looked great. My co-workers encouraged the buy also. After walking around the store like Beyonce. Haha It was a done deal!

I did my research and found that "Fur Neckpiece" coats are really in this season.This happens to be my first real fur purchase. I'm more comfortable with vintage fur. But you'll usually see me in faux fur.  Truth is, I have a thing for statement pieces. I own a lot of them. 

Which has its pros and cons. For those simple chic days where I aiming for that fashion minimalist look. I end up looking like a homeless person. Not in a kanye west kinda way either. Much worst. I think the Pros goes without saying. Just look at this beauty.

She came, She saw, She conquered...

My dear friend and fellow blogger Lauren came to visit holiday break. From the moment she landed it was nonstop fun. We hit shop after shop. Ate so much good food. The grub was real! Two words "Green Dot" *inside joke* Also, I even learned more about my city with big thanks to her visit. She was a total pleasure and we ended the trip with a Big Bang. A Great Gatsby night. The look I was going for this  day of her trip was shopper chic. I don't know about you but I have to come to the mall cute in order to get some real shopping done. See not much happens when you are not well dress. Your depriving yourself a canvas fresh for new cloths! You just won't inspire to buy anything else. Aesthetically and artistically. You have a clearer picture to paint with. The right makeup and hair done. We mustn't forget the RIGHT undergarments. Bra, Spanx, and even Panties. Trust me. It helps the experience. So next time your shopping remember....

1. Right Bra. 

2. Your best Undies. 

3. Got Spanx. 

4. Dress to impress. 

5. Don't overthink it. 

This look is a simple baby doll shirt. Jeggins from FTF. Something about wearing two different color acid wash jean. It rocked my world.  The Jacket, I thrifted from Platos Closet some time ago. It's maker being Forever 21. Not surprise. Love me some F21. Pair that with some cute booties and boot socks (Boot socks are everything.) You got yourself a oh so chic look. While still remaining comfortable for walking that mall left to right. 

Lauren's visit was great. She came, She saw and she conquered. No wonder I am currently missing this girl like crazy! In time, I know we will me again. Blogger rules.
